Chris Wilkins

A fictional narrative of a non-fictional life.

The Very Inept

The very fast are always
never where they are,

Never appreciating themselves,
wondering, rushing

To their destination
wnd postponing their lives

with rumplemints and jager bombs.
Always unclear

Are their destinations
out of mind,

for years at a time.
To deter harm,

the teachers ask,
How can we fix this problem.

But then, one afternoon,
through the gym doors,

You see them,
in cap and gown lined up,

to receive their diplomas,
with smiles and pride.

They will Change the world forever.
